Breaking News: Minister announces wins for rec fishers!

Wow! This is what happens when our advocacy works. Just now, the Minister has:

✅Ruled out the ban on spearfishing for key species 🤿

✅Ruled out changes to calamari for this season

✅Won't progress proposed changes to charter boat operators

✅Removed the proposed rule to change catch limits and or size limits by public notice

But wait, there's more...

Consultation has re-opened for a month starting today (closes 25 September)- fishers that have already made a submission do not need to resubmit unless they want to provide new or additional information.
