TARFish submission – Commonwealth fisheries resource sharing framework discussion paper

TARFish lodged a submission in response to the Commonwealth Fisheries Resource Sharing Framework discussion paper.

TARFish supports recognition of all sources of value, particularly social and cultural, need to be considered to ensure the return to Australia, now and in the future, is considerate of all sectors accessing Australia’s Commonwealth Fisheries.

TARFish supports building a resource sharing framework that is enabled through participation, managed in an open, engaging and transparent way underpinned by quality science, data, monitoring and shared decision making.
